2016 Équipe Toute Etoile – All Star Team
The Quebec Junior Football League held its annual awards banquet to recognize excellence among its players and coaches and to formally close a remarkable 2016 season that saw the South Shore Jr. Bruizers winning their first championship after a perfect 10-0 campaign and a new Montreal Royals team making it all the way to the championship final and nearly pulling off a great upset.
The 35th annual event took place at Le Boulevard Restaurant in Valleyfield, Quebec with about 200 persons in attendance including players, coaches, volunteers, league officials and invited guests.
Overall, 83 players were nominated for awards in 15 different categories and 34 players received trophies. In addition, six different educational bursaries were presented, including one from a new sponsor of the league, the Hitachi Corporation.

QJFL All Stars Attend Alouettes Combine
On behalf of the Quebec Junior Football League, I would like to thank the Montreal Alouettes for this opportunity to both our league in general, and our players in particular, to participate in this year’s Combine Camp on Friday April 21, 2017.
This upcoming Combine experience and all prior training sessions have proven to be a very successful collaboration between the Alouettes and the QJFL. It will allow these players the opportunity and experience, to realize, the many steps required, if they choose to advance to the next level in their career.
Because of this support, many young adults who do not follow the university route may still have the opportunity to someday fulfill their dream of playing professional football.
The QJFL are extremely proud to be associated with the Montreal Alouettes and to be a partner in the upcoming Alouette Combine Camp. Their support of the QJFL, for the upcoming football season, is greatly appreciated and we look forward continued collaboration.

Au nom de la Ligue de football junior du Québec, j’aimerais remercier les Alouettes de Montréal pour avoir offert cette opportunité à notre ligue en général et à nos joueurs en particulier, de participer au camp d’évaluation qui avait lieu le vendredi 21 avril 2017.
Ce camp d’évaluation et toutes les formations précédentes se sont avérées une collaboration réussie entre les Alouettes et la LFJQ. Il offrira aux joueurs une opportunité et une expérience pour se rendre compte des nombreuses étapes à franchir, s’ils choisissent de passer au niveau suivant dans leur carrière.
Gràce à ce soutien, de nombreux jeunes adultes qui ne suivent pas la route de l’éducation universitaire auront encore une possibilité de réaliser leur rêve de jouer au football professionnel.
La LFJQ est extrêmement fière d’être associée aux Alouettes de Montréal et d’être partenaire au camp d’évaluation des Alouettes. Leur soutien de la LFJQ pour la prochaine saison de football est grandement apprécié et nous attendons de pouvoir continuer cette collaboration.
